How Our Zippy Shells Work
You can load our convenient containers yourself or we offer our professional movers for loading services so you and your valuables get the complete Zippy Shell experience. Either way, your Zippy Shell containers are locked at all times until you open them.

Storage Container Options
The 15’ Zippy Shell is our most popular option and can hold about 1,000 square feet of home storage. We also offer an 8’ Shell option for those with lighter storage needs that’s also lighter on the budget.
Climate Controlled Storage Containers
All of our storage is indoors and is temperature-controlled between 60-80 degrees at all times and our facility is locked, alarmed, and secured and has video surveillance as well as 24/7 roving security.
The container’s cage design allows for proper airflow to help with climate control and prevent moisture buildup, keeping your stored items in the same condition as when you retrieve them.
You’ll have access to your storage all 364 days a year that we operate, Super Bowl Sunday being our notable exception.
Zippy Shell Storage FAQs
How much does storage cost?
Delivery of a Zippy Shell to your home is $159 plus tax, which includes the return trip back to our storage facility. Storage is $259 plus tax per month for our 15’ storage container and $189 per month for our 8’ storage container. When storage is over, redelivery is $159.
We always have in-depth conversations with our clients to determine their specific storage needs.
Can I get access to my container while it is in storage?
Yes! For a small charge, we will pull down and stage your container, giving you complete access to your things 364 days a year (not on Super Bowl, of course!) We recommend giving Zippy Shell at least 24 hours’ notice to ensure your container can be made available.
How are storage fees handled?
Storage is paid for using a credit card or debit card. We charge your card monthly on your anniversary date. Storage is charged by the month and is not prorated. There is no minimum or maximum amount of time you must stay in storage.
How much do you charge for loading or unloading a Zippy Shell container?
We charge a flat fee of $339 to load or unload a Zippy Shell. If you need both loading and unloading services, the fee is $339 for each service. We bring a vast array of protective materials to every job and you will only be charged for what you use. Loading will typically include light disassembly (e.g. beds and tables). Unloading includes the reassembly of any furniture that we disassembled.
