We are open 364 days a year; every day of the year except Super Bowl Sunday (of course!). We treat your furniture and household items as though they were our own. Our polite and friendly movers are available to help with your every request!

Our Professional Movers
Zippy Shell is equipped to handle any size move, from a studio apartment to a 15,000 square foot home. We can handle specialty items including safes and pianos. Our friendly movers are experienced and can provide the professional muscle and know-how you need for your move. We also provide all moving equipment, such as moving blankets, at no additional charge.
Professional Packing Services
Whether you have fine china, delicate furniture, or artwork, Zippy Shell’s experienced, professional packers will ensure that your goods are fully protected. We carry a full line of commercial packing supplies to protect all of your household goods from damage. For exceptionally fragile items, we provide crating services.
Our DOT-inspected and certified Zippy Shell trailers and trucks are regularly inspected and fully ready for your local move wherever and whenever you need it in Southern Nevada or our adjoining states.
Zippy Shell Local Moving FAQs
How much does a local move cost?
The cost is dependent on the size of the moving team, which in turn is dependent upon the size of the job. We offer two-man moving teams all the way up to eight-man moving teams. Working together with you, we like to determine the number of movers and trucks that will be needed for your job. Our Local Move rates start at $129 per hour with a two-hour minimum.
Can you move safes and pianos?
We can move most safes and pianos – up to a certain weight when completing a local move. An extra fee will be charged for piano moves and for some safes. For very large safes, you may wish to contact a safe company, as they carry specialty equipment needed for the movement of large safes.
Are supplies extra?
We provide unlimited moving blankets at no cost to protect your furniture and household goods. We carry a vast array of professional moving supplies at an additional cost.
Is Zippy Shell licensed and insured?
We carry General Liability, Inland Marine, Workers Compensation, and Commercial Auto Insurance to ensure that you are fully protected.
